The Aqualarm pipe is 30 cm length.

The standard height between the edge and the water of swimming pools being 15 cms, the immersed height is thus also 15 cms. 

This height immersed by 15 cms constitutes the ideal height in +/-3 cms: if we have more immersed pipe, the system will be less sensitive; on the contrary, if we have less, the system will be more sensitive. 

Below immersed 5 cms, the alarm is not operational. To compensate a possibly insufficient height you can furnish extension leads of pipe knowing that an extension lead is 8 cms and that you can adjust the immersed height by cutting the useless length, but that you can, also, fit several so necessary extension leads.
